Seattle Public Library

The Seattle Public Library, located in downtown Seattle, is an architectural landmark. Designed by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, in conjunction with LMN Architects of Seattle, the library opened in May 2004. The design is unique and futuristic and has won international acclaim. The building has received numerous architectural awards and in 2007 was placed on the American Institute of Architects' list of Americans' favorite structures.

Seattle Public Library Auditorium

The library's Microsoft Auditorium seats 275 people and is located on the ground floor of the building. Separate meeting rooms are available for poster sessions and vendor exhibits. The opening reception will be held in the Reading Room, located on the top floor of the library with striking views of the Seattle skyline.
