Visiting Seattle
Seattle is one of the world's most vibrant port cities and offers an excellent meeting location. The city has numerous biomedical institutions with large genomics research programs, including the University of Washington, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Institute for Systems Biology, as well as major biotechnology companies such as Amgen and Zymogenetics.
The conference venue and hotel are within easy walking distance of the downtown shopping area and many Seattle attractions, including Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, the waterfront and Seattle Aquarium, Washington State Ferries, and via the monorail the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and Seattle Center.
